Aventurine has been the technology partner and supporter of the Hellenic Modern Pentathlon Association and provided support for the Athens 2004 Olympic test event and the Modern Pentathlon World Cup held in Athens. The Modern pentathlon was originally created to simulate the experience of a 19th century cavalry soldier behind enemy lines: riding an unfamiliar horse, fighting with a pistol and sword, swimming and running. What can be cooler than that?
